What is Toe Walking? Walking on the toes/ ball of the foot is common among toddlers and is often nothing to worry about as most children outgrow it. If they don't it could be due to habit, however if your child is toe walking and not developing elsewhere normally it can be a cause for concern. Toe walking can be a result of cerebral palsy, muscle dystrophy (weakness of muscles) and autism.
