CIMT CIMT (Constraint Induced Movement Therapy) is a technique used at Manchester Neuro Physio on children with neurological conditions, who have varying needs. The technique is primarily used to help regain independence with functional everyday tasks, along with motor function and range of movement. This therapy technique is most suited to those within a 6 month time frame, following neurological injury, in order to maximise results. The CIMT programme that we carry out at Manchester Neuro Physio is an intensive programme which consists of treatment by a Physiotherapists, 3 hours a day for 5 days, for a consecutive 3. We can offer programmes during the school holidays if this is best suited to your child.
